Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure

  • Applicant should carefully read all the Rules & Regulation regarding admission before submitting the admission form.
  • Applicants should fill the admission form only after ensuring that they fulfil essential qualifications for the Programme applied for.
  • A Degree student may take admission in one Diploma Programme also.
  • Incomplete Application forms will be rejected.
  • After verification of all the required documents applicants will be informed about the date and time of aptitude test.
  • An aptitude test for admission in concerned Programme is mandatory for the applicant.
  • The Departmental Admission Committee will declare the list of selected candidates on the basis of their performance and merit.
  • Selected candidates must complete all the formalities regarding admission and submit their admission fee before the last date.
  • After completion of admission procedure students must register with the department and attend the classes regularly as per the schedule.
  • A late fee will be applicable with admission fee after the due date of admission as per the University Rules.
  • Reservation for Admission will be as per the Rules of Government of Uttar Pradesh.

List of the Documents required for admission

  • Self-attested photocopies of mark-sheets and certificates of qualifying examinations.
  • Four passport size photograph.
  • Self-attested proof of date of birth.
  • Character certificate from the last attended Institution or competent authority in original.
  • In case of gap(s) between two sessions, an affidavit from competent authority is required.
  • Applicant seeking admission under reserved category must submit a caste/EWS/special ability certificate from the competent authority in support of their claim.
  • Self-attested copy of Aadhar Card.

Fee Instructions

  • All the fees should be paid in Indian currency by the student.
  • Fee will be charged double for foreign/NRI students.

Enrolment/Registration

  • Transfer/ Migration certificate must be submitted in original at the time of admission.
  • Candidate selected for degree Programmes will be required to fill Enrolment form and the same has to be submitted with all the required documents at the University office within prescribed date with required fee.
  • Candidate selected for Diploma Programmes will be required to fill Registration form and the same has to be submitted with all the required documents at the University office within prescribed date with required fee.
  • Enrolment/Registration fee is charged only once till the student is enrolled/registered in the University.
  • A Candidate cannot enrol in more than one Subject.
  • Candidates shall not be treated as regular students and shall not be eligible for appearing in the University examination until they complete the enrolment/registration procedure.
  • Every student will be allotted an enrolment/registration number and will be given an enrolment/registration certificate on completion of the enrolment/registration procedure.
  • An enrolled student may apply for the Migration Certificate from this University for admission in the other university. Such students will have to enrol themselves again if they wish to take admission again in this University.

Caution Money

  • Caution money is refundable after appropriate deduction at the end of the Programme.
  • Students may apply for refund for caution money after six months of leaving the University but within One Year.
  • It is mandatory to enclose admission fee receipt in original, photocopy of mark sheet of latest examination, and no dues from the library and accounts section of the University.

Admission Restrictions

  • University will not allow any such student for admission, whose conduct is not conducive to the traditions and academic environment of the University.
  • A student will be allowed to change his/her subject applied for before the due date with the special permission of the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the concerned Head of the department. Subject change is only one time facility.
  • If any diploma student has discontinued his/her studies in middle of the session or failed in the examination, the student will be eligible for re-admission in the same Programme as a regular student in next session.
  • Students eligible for back paper in Semester Examination shall be allowed to keep term as per the University Rules & Regulations.
  • University recognizes degrees/diplomas/certificates awarded by the UGC/AIU recognized Universities or institutions governed by the Government of India or the State Governments.
  • The applicants, whose abilities are not found suitable for the Programme applied for, shall not be considered.
  • Every student must complete Under Graduate Programme within 6 years maximum, Post Graduate within 4 years maximum and Diploma level Programmes as Regular student within 4 years.
